Delhi Home Guard Selection Process 2024

The Delhi Home Guard 2024 selection process consists of four recruitment stages. Candidates who pass the Physical Measurement and Efficiency Test will be invited for a written examination, followed by a medical examination. Delhi Home Guard Exam Pattern 2024

The written examination for Delhi Home Guard Recruitment will have 80 multiple choice objective questions, each question will carry 1 mark and the total marks will be 80 marks. The question paper will be set at matriculation standard (10th class) and will cover a range of topics to assess the knowledge and aptitude of the candidates. There will be no written examination for Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAMF personnel if their number after qualifying PMET remains less than 10% of the total vacancies.

Delhi Police Home Guard Award of Bonus Marks

Bonus marks will be provided to candidates based on their bona fide claims after the applicant has fulfilled the following requirements as stated in his or her application. However, this will be reviewed during Document Verification, and any fraudulent information or claims will result in the candidature being denied.
A maximum of 20 marks will be provided as a bonus based on the following details:
i) Bonus Marks for NCC (5 marks maximum):

a) NCC Certificate ‘C’ Class – 5 marks
b) NCC Certificate ‘B’ Class – 3 marks
c) NCC Certificate ‘A’ Class – 2 marks
ii) Bonus points for experience as home guards
3 years or more of experience as a home guard volunteer – 10 marks
iii) Bonus points for experience in civil defense
03 years or more of experience as a civil defense volunteer – 05 marks
iv) Possessing a certificate of Part Time Instructor Course or at least two Civil Defence Advance courses from CTI-Delhi or any one course from NCDC-Nagpur/CTI-Bangalore. – 05 Marks

3 years or more of experience as a home guard volunteer – 10 marks
